Croatia, Independent State. An Order of the Iron Trefoil, I Class Cross, c.1941 United Republic of and yellow colours(Red eljeznog Trolista). Instituted in 1941. Three piece construction, cross in black lacquered non magnetic metal alloy, silvered centerpiece with red and blue enamels, unmarked, measuring 49. 9 mm (w) x 50. 9 mm (h), weighs 36. 13 grams, intact enamels, on its original full length neck ribbon, extremely fine.
