A German State Forestry Official's Belt With Buckle certificate_of_authenticity He entered service in 1868Two prong open claw buckle in silvered nickel with a pebbled upper on the right end, marked "D. R. G. M." (Deutsches Reichsgebrauchsmuster) and numbered "1240881" on the reverse, the buckle measuring 45. 3 mm x 60. 5 mm. Belt is fabricated from a very thick leather with a smooth finished forest green upper, emerald green felt glued in place on the underside, seven rows of two holes each for length adjustment on the left end, each hole with forest
